Ba Donkey O

E3 decided that is her new name last night. She is queen of making up new, strange names for herself and the other members of our family! Hubby and I looked through an old photo album before bed and did a little reminiscing about how much the kids have grown. Here is A4 as a baby. She was the picture perfect little baby. She cried for the first 6 weeks but was sleeping 9 hour at night by 7 weeks and 12 hours each night by 9 weeks. She was a very happy baby and also very vocal. From an early age she was trying to communicate and she always chose books over anything else to play with. Even to this day her favorite pastime is reading. She has been begging me to teach her to read since she was 2 years old. She picked up on her alphabet and phonics sounds super quick. Yet she is also very gifted in math. This morning she said "5+5+5+5=20!" I asked where she learned that and she said she just figured it out. When she was 7 months old we got pregnant with E3. Here is E3 as a baby. She looks like hubby's side of the family. E3 was a pretty happy baby as long as someone was touching her. Even to this day she is the most cuddly child out of all the kids. E3 was crazy dangerous. She was trying to crawl at 4 months (we have video!) and she was walking by 9 months. She was SO clumsy and got hurt very frequently. She also liked to climb. I used to put the kitchen chairs on the table so she could not climb them. If I turned around for a split second she would climb. She is very energetic and has only recently been able to sit still for story time. We decided having two kids 16 months apart was kinda tough so we wanted to space them apart a little better. We waited until E3 was a year and a half before conceiving again. Little did we know the joke was on us! We conceived boy girl twins. See how well our plan worked out! We didn't have kids 16 months apart again, but 21 minutes apart. Little N is such a boy. Everything about him is so much different. He is laid back to say the least! God has blessed him with such an easy going, go-with-the-flow personality that I think he will to do just fine in a house filled with women. He, like all little boys, loves throwing around the many balls we now have in the house. He has the funniest was of jabbering. He grumbles and grunts. Kinda in a Tool Time Tim Allen kinda way. I think he is constantly asserting his manliness. Little K is the youngest of the crew and it shows. She tries to get away with anything and everything. She is a masterful escape artist and drama queen. She loves music and especially loves her older sisters. No one can make her laugh quite like they can! She is a bully to her big brother and steals his toys all the time. Something tells me once he is a little older that may change! She loves story time and lights up anytime someone talks to her. Hope you enjoyed this trip down memory lane! I know I did.
