Today it started raining. It was a nice, warm, summer rain. A heavenly shower that felt like a gift straight from God. Giddy little girls pattered outside licking the precious drops with their smiles. Dripping faces turned up and squinted, squealed, at the heavens. Hair heavy with rain brought a little shower throughout the house as they burst in to get dry. God gives us just what we need right when we need it. We needed the shocking delight of a summer shower today.
James 1:17 "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."
