On Labor Day we built the world's biggest fort...or at least the biggest one we've ever seen. And we built a fire and made Smores. No one in our family had ever had smores so we were excited. We made a lot. So many we were able to share with several neighbors.

Annabelle was very good at roasting marshmallows. Daddy just burned them but Annabelle stood there patient and waited for the marshmallows to get gooey. She was very proud at what a good job she was doing!

Daddy enjoyed the smores.

So did Mommy.

The kids really liked smores too. They wanted to have them the next night, and the night after that.....

Kate kept laying hers on the ground then wondering why there were leaves and other debris on her smore. She laid it down to get the sticky off her hands. She doesn't like being sticky so I have been giving her glue sticks to play with to desensitize her. It hasn't worked...yet.

Nathan helped by carrying around the spatula.

Hope you had a great Labor Day. Happy Wednesday!
