A day when the air is thick with tension and attitudes are volatile. When the frantic pace of the day starts at dawn and the struggle to keep up is heavy. Some of us want to walk away. One of us does.
But in God's creation we find the solace we need. Eyebrows are still furrowed but there are some glimpses of enjoyment in the midst of it all. Building a bird nest out of clippings from the lawn, an impromptu writing lesson out on the driveway, plenty of sunshine and movement and hopscotch.
"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life that God promises to those who love him." James 1:12
